Education & Libraries

Adventures of Monkey™ Education believes emotional well-being and education go hand-in-hand. By nurturing both, we support children in developing skills and confidence to express themselves emotionally and intellectually - laying the foundation for academic success and lifelong resilience.

Equipping children with the emotional literacy skills to feel safe, seen, and supported - in every home, school, and community.

Preschool & Primary Years

We are proud to be pioneering interactive mindfulness assemblies and 'in-classroom' workshops at schools across the country for Pre-school & Reception (age 3-5), and Grade1 & Key Stage 1 (age 5-7).

Adventures Of Monkey™ Education programs were developed to empower children to navigate their world with curiosity, confidence and compassion, strengthened by instilling a daily positive mindset. Our ready-to-use, emotionally enriching resources, designed to support teachers and staff with the PSHE and EYFS curriculum in the UK, and aligning with SEL frameworks like CASEL in the US, help support alphabet learning, strengthen cognitive skills, whilst  improving classroom behaviour, attention span, and emotional safety.

We are proud to share that our resources have been accredited by MESH and The Good Play Guide as being beneficial in helping children navigate big feelings as they prepare for back to school, or the big leap into formal education.

Libraries & Community Hubs

In libraries and community spaces Adventures of Monkey™ Education offers a gentle entry point to emotional literacy - especially for children experiencing anxiety, overstimulation, or limited support at home.

Our playful, interactive story-time and wellness sessions have proven to be a valuable asset to local communities and families. Designed to be implemented within weekly circle time, story-time sessions, or one-to-one reading, Adventures Of Monkey™ Education provides librarians and families resources to support emotional and mental health without the need to be experts.

We are currently piloting our 'Six Weeks Of Wellness' with Adventures Of Monkey™ Education. An emotional literacy based, library enrichment program, designed to engage, connect and excite children to explore their emotions and the world around them through story and play.

The Science

'I AM' affirmations are positive statements that have been scientifically proven to help counteract negative self-talk, anxieties and promote positive thoughts, feelings, and belief systems when repeated regularly. By using uplifting, inspiring statements and expanding vocabulary on a daily basis, we can train our brains to create a positive outlook for ourselves and our lives. Teaching children to embody this mindset consistently, encourages them to believe in themselves and exude compassion and empathy for those around them. Practicing daily with your children will help build and improve confidence, increase literacy, and deepen connection.

Literacy & Emotional Safety

Literacy is the basic foundational skill of life. Encouraging a love for education through reading and writing at a young age is an integral piece of supporting our child’s emotional wellness. Blending this with emotional literacy, the ability to recognize, understand, express, and manage emotions, helps create a deeper level of Emotional Safety.

What is Emotional Safety?

The feeling that you can be ourselves - fully and openly - without fear of being judged, rejected, shamed, or punished for your feelings, thoughts, or needs.

It allows our children to:

  • Speak honestly without worrying about criticism or ridicule

  • Express emotions - whether joy, sadness, anger, or fear - knowing they’ll be met with understanding

  • Take risks, make mistakes, and learn without feeling unsafe or unloved

  • Trust that their boundaries will be respected and their voice will matter

  • Feel secure enough to connect deeply with others
